U2Fruit child safety standards
This page is shown in English.
U2Fruit is a dating service for people aged 18 and over, on the website u2fruit.com and in its Android app. It is provided by I MAS D GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES SL (Spain). These standards explain how we protect minors and, in particular, how we prevent and act against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Zero tolerance
On U2Fruit the following is forbidden, without exception:
- posting, requesting, sharing, linking to or storing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors;
- contacting minors or trying to gain their trust for sexual purposes (grooming);
- offering, requesting or facilitating the exploitation or trafficking of minors;
- using the service while under 18, or helping a minor to use it.
Any breach leads to the immediate and permanent closure of the account and to a report to the authorities.
Adults only (18+)
- When signing up, every person states their date of birth and confirms they are an adult; the database itself rejects any date of birth under 18.
- Every profile photo, video and text is reviewed before other people can see it. Photos and verification selfies in which the person appears to be a minor are rejected.
- If we detect an account belonging to a minor, we close it and delete its data.
How to report
- Inside U2Fruit: every profile and every conversation has a «Report» button; choose the reason «I think they are under 18» (or «Sexual content I did not ask for») and, if you wish, add a detail. The reported person does not know who reported them.
- By email, to info@u2fruit.com, also if you do not have an account.
A report of a possible minor removes the profile from view immediately while a member of our team reviews it, and it is handled before any other report.
What we do when there is a case
- We remove the content and close the account.
- We keep the evidence for as long as the law requires, only to hand it over to the authorities.
- We report it to the competent law enforcement agencies (in Spain, the Policía Nacional and the Guardia Civil) and to the relevant bodies in each country, and we cooperate with them.
We comply with the applicable child protection laws, including those of Spain and the European Union.
